The Redwood City Mothers Club partners with the City of Redwood City to provide a drop in free-play area for club members. The club members have donated toys and the city provides a closet for storage and a room to play. Club members keep the program running, and give kids and parents a great opportunity to meet new people and play with new toys.
Toy co-op can be viewed as a playgroup without the stress of hosting at one’s home or chasing one’s children around the park or in the rain. It is a fun, relaxed place where kids can engage in free play in a great play environment with loads of toys and moms can enjoy coffee and adult conversation. Drop by anytime. Lights snacks and drinks are provided. There is plenty of free parking.
The toy co-op is now running on a no host system, so there is no one individual in charge of setting up and cleaning up, but everyone who attends is expected to help with either set up or clean up. Toy Co-op is open to all RWCMC members, grandparents/babysitters/nannies/spouses are always welcome.
Toy Co-op is typically closed for the summer, holidays and when the room is booked. Members can log in to BigTent events calendar for location and days Toy Co-op is open. https://www.bigtent.com/groups/rwcmclub
