Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 from 6-8pm is the annual Preschool Preview Night at the Redwood City Community Activities Building – 1400 Roosevelt Ave, Redwood City, CA 94061. This event is a wonderful opportunity for parents to talk to representatives from multiple preschools, day-cares and parent education organizations on one evening.
The organizers put together a very helpful hand-out with information from all of the schools attending for you to look through and figure out which schools you are most interested in talking with during the event. Many schools bring sign-up sheets for up-coming school tours and advertise their annual open house at the event, so bring your PDA or calendar with you.
If you are totally new to the preschool/day-care search process, this event can be easily overwhelming. Take a few minutes to look over the main types of preschools to give you an idea of what most closely matches your parenting/educational philosophy.
